Delegates at Hallmarq's clinical user meeting in Monterey

Hallmarq held a North American clinical meeting in Monterey, CA dedicated to standing equine MRI.  Based on the successful format of the established meetings held each January in Chamonix, this was the first clinical user meeting held in North America for some time and was well attended with customers coming not only from the US and Canada but also Australia and Japan.  Clinical presentations focused on the detailed structure of the foot and on more proximal limb scanning, with established and new users alike benefiting from the in-depth discussion regarding the optimum choice of sequences and protocols.  A variety of excellent images and challenging cases illustrated the diagnostic value of MRI, and two speakers explored how best to communicate this value to potential referring vets and clients.  Hallmarq's Steve Roberts detailed the upcoming major software upgrade.  Included free of charge in Hallmarq's standard maintenance agreement this release is the most significant upgrade to Hallmarq's standing equine MRI scanner since 2007, and brings improvements in image quality, speed, and ease of use.
