Video and booklet released for equine referring vets

In line with its commitment to user education, Hallmarq Veterinary Imaging has released two new materials to support vets referring horses for Standing Equine MRI.

The new video and booklet have been produced for equine vets who don’t have access to an MRI at their own clinic. The materials aim to clarify the referral process and highlight some of the key benefits that Standing MRI can bring.

Hallmarq produced the 32-page booklet “Standing Equine MRI in the Clinical Management of Lameness” in collaboration with Sarah Powell MA VetMB Assoc. (LA) ECVDI MRCVS of Rossdales Equine Diagnostic Centre.

The accompanying video "Why refer a lame horse for Standing MRI" features contributions from John Kenward BVetMed MRCVS of Newnham Court Equine Clinic and his local referral practice Bell Equine.

A press release has been sent to seven UK veterinary trade press journals, and a copy of the booklet will be sent to any referring vet on request.
