When designing a space for MRI machines, there are many technical factors to consider which is why our Q-Care program includes help and advice from our in-house architect during the design phase. Room size is determined more by the size of the 5-gauss zone than the physical size of the machine. For health and safety reasons, the 5-gauss zone should be controlled and containing it within the MRI room offers the easiest way to do this.
