Anna Drahonovska

Anna was actively competing in show jumping and dressage before pursuing her veterinary studies at the University of Veterinary Medicine in Brno, Czech Republic, where she graduated in 2019. Following her graduation, she completed her first internship in Luesche, Germany, where she became an FEI-permitted treating veterinarian. Anna then joined Donnington Grove, where she completed a 20-month equine hospital internship. With a strong interest in Equine Surgery, Anna enrolled in the ECVS Residency program in 2022. Before returning to Donnington Grove she spent the first half of her surgical training at the Hospital of the Jockey Club of Saudi Arabia, where she participated with the Saudi Cup team, cared for endurance horses, and vetted at multiple events, including the 2024 World Equestrian Games (WEG). She is currently working toward her ECVS certification in Equine Surgery at Donnington Grove, continuing her specialised training.
