Hallmarq Veterinary Imaging is delighted to be recognised by The North American Veterinary Community (NAVC) in the 2023 VETTY Awards® this month. NAVC’s leadership team gives the prestigious Spotlight Award to one ‘outstanding’ entry each year, and we were proud to be asked to receive the accolade on stage at VMX in Orlando.
“We’re thrilled to bits to be here. We’re not a large company. We’re from the UK. We really feel that we’ve made an impact now over this side of the pond against some really big hitters. So we’re absolutely delighted.”
Annie Makin, CCO, Hallmarq Veterinary Imaging
Vision CT reaps the rewards
The NAVC introduced the VETTY Awards® in 2017. Their purpose is to recognise and reward marketing excellence in the animal healthcare industry. Working in collaboration with London-based communications agency BrandTall, Hallmarq entered the campaign/new product launch and tradeshow booth categories with our 2023 omnichannel Vision CT campaign… and won!
Collaborative campaign
Hallmarq’s Vision CT makes 3D imaging accessible to every equine practice. The walk-in-scan-walk-out system is safe, effective, and affordable. Simple to install, easy to use, and with unique pay-as-you-go business models, it’s rapidly out-classing traditional DR as the go-to modality for equine lameness. That’s the USP we took to BrandTall when we appointed them to work alongside our in-house marketing team on a campaign to raise visibility and increase engagement. The hard work and targeted approach paid off.
In the Spotlight
The much-coveted Spotlight Award is given to recognise a single outstanding entry in the VETTY Awards®. Gene O’Neill, NAVC CEO, stated
“We are proud of the amazing work that those in marketing and advertising are accomplishing in the animal health care industry. This year’s entries proved beyond excellent, showcasing many of the advancements in animal medicine, a deeper understanding of the animal health audience, developments in technology and memorable creative campaigns. The VETTY Awards® entrants play an important role in helping animals everywhere live longer, better quality lives.”
Gene O’Neill, NAVC, CEO
Jennifer Weir, Head of Marketing at Hallmarq Veterinary Imaging, added
“To end 2023 with this award is the culmination of the hard work that the whole team has delivered, not only during the year but since Vision CT’s initial concept. Whilst our focus is on making safe, effective, and affordable advanced imaging accessible to every veterinary practice, to be recognised for the campaign that brings this technology to the industry is the icing on the cake.”
Jennifer Weir, Head of Marketing, Hallmarq Veterinary Imaging
The 2023 VETTY Awards is not the only recognition Hallmarq has received for its Vision CT campaign. Working alongside both BrandTall and Stand Creative, we also won the Best Free Stand Design Award at BEVA Congress 2023 in recognition of our outstanding design, build, and execution. The unique, eye-catching design of the stand was tailored to create a coordinated range of materials for distribution across a variety of platforms.
From Hallmarq’s BEVA stand banner and sales brochure to social media, emails, and online advertising, the omnichannel approach has paid off.
The campaign has fuelled the growing popularity of the Hallmarq Vision CT scanner. To meet rising demand, 2023 saw us expand into new manufacturing space at our sites in the UK and the USA. As we continue to raise awareness of Vision CT’s benefits, including enhanced patient safety and more effective, affordable diagnosis of everyday lameness, practices around the globe are taking the opportunity to offer this innovative new service.
