Hallmarq Veterinary Imaging announces that it has moved its North American headquarters from Acton, Massachusetts to West Chicago. The move is in response to the company’s rapidly growing standing equine, and small animal MRI business. This is based in the United States and Canada.

According to Dr. Dan Brown, vice president of North America for Hallmarq. The relocation will allow the company to provide better Veterinary imaging, support and service for its many MRI systems. These are located at veterinary clinics and other sites in both countries.

“The Chicago area was selected for its central location and superior transportation links that will enhance our ability to stock a larger selection of spare parts and overnight ship to more areas of the continent,” Brown says. “We pride ourselves in providing our small animal and equine veterinary customers with training, on-site support and ongoing service of their Hallmarq MRI systems. This has resulted in the best system up-time record in the industry,” Brown adds. “The move to the Midwest will help us maintain that high level of service and support.”

Just 40 minutes from Chicago O’Hare Airport, the new office location provides additional space for employees, meeting areas and warehouse facilities, notes Brown. Hallmarq Veterinary Imaging will maintain its Acton office for corporate finance and technical support functions. The company’s new address is 1275 West Roosevelt Road, Suite 116, West Chicago, Ill.
