Hallmarq’s Marketing Team headed to the Royal Lancaster London last week for the much-anticipated VMA Annual Awards ceremony. This prestigious event provides a unique platform to showcase and reward marketing skills, creativity, and professionalism in the veterinary and animal health industry. The venue is palatial, the lunch superb, and the competition tough!

VMA-mazing!

The judging process for this year’s awards included online and in-person reviews of all entries by a panel of veterinary professionals and creative experts. The exacting criteria and rigorous process mean we’re taking nothing for granted in acknowledging what a difficult task this must have been for all involved.

From dipping a toe in the water in 2023 to winning four awards in 2024, Hallmarq’s Vision CT campaign proved a runaway success. Working in collaboration with marketing agency BrandTall, the company’s unique ‘CT-ING is Believing’ campaign was nominated – and won – in a total of four categories:

Exhibition

Looking for the ‘wow’ factor, the judges wanted audience appeal alongside creativity and originality. The talented team at Stand Creative brought Hallmarq’s vision to life at BEVA 2023, helping us scoop the Best Free Design Stand Award at Congress. A stylish country home sitting room with a sofa, armchairs, and bookcase, dressed with personal pictures and books, helped epitomise the live marketing environment.

Marketing Campaign

For companies who demonstrated a mix of marketing activities with an omnichannel approach. Impactful, creative, and original, the judges recognised that the Vision CT campaign had audience appeal and that each element worked in its own right in addition to being cohesive. Clear, effective, and targeted messaging worked to persuade and influence the intended audience.

Vet Media Advertising

Specifically targeted at the veterinary press, our Vision CT advertisement caught the judges’ eye for both its visual impact and use of carefully crafted copy. With an original idea that stood out from the crowd, the ad was deemed creative and impactful with audience appeal.

As if that wasn’t enough, we were also highly commended in the Integrated Digital category for the creative and effective use of an appropriate range of digital channels to impact and engage. As important as the appropriateness of each platform, was the ability to track and report on reactions and results to prove SMART objectives had been met.

Judge’s Choice

The icing on the cake, and a truly unexpected accolade, was the coveted Judges Choice Award. For boldness, bravery, and demonstrating innovation, Hallmarq was the unanimous choice for this year’s award from a host of worthy entries.

The Vision CT campaign – CT-ING is Believing – brings 3D imaging to life and was only possible with the help and collaboration of marketing agency BrandTall and the team at Stand Creative. Their combined creative genius, unparalleled professionalism, and buckets of enthusiasm were integral to us achieving this recognition.
